Fuge has been amazing. The worship has been beautiful and Christ centered. The preaching has been biblical and relevant. The youth have been focused and determined. I could go on and on.
However, the most important thing that has happened is that we had a
student surrender to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior!!!!!! Courtney Hipp made the most important decision of her life last night and we all celebrated with our new sister in Christ!!
We also know that God is not through with our students. In an attempt to stay focused and eliminate as many distractions as possible we are taking away the youth’s cell phones tonight. They will get them back on the way home. Please continue to pray for us. We know Christ isn’t finished with our group and the enemy is trying to steal our joy and God’s glory.
“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:16-21)
We finally made to Centrifuge!! We have experienced massive amounts of rain, had a tornado warning that delayed us from getting in our rooms and we had to stay in a hallway for over and hour and half. But despite all the set backs we are safe and sound and ready for an unbelievable week of getting closer to Christ. Pray that God will move mightily in our group and the whole camp.
